After gaining a degree in Law at The University of Sheffield, James wanted experience of a commercial environment and joined PwC, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1999. He joined Ford Campbell as an executive the following year. During this time, James has advised on a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and development capital across sectors as diverse as retail, telecoms and support services. He became a director in 2007 and focuses on advising entrepreneurs with businesses valued up to £50m. James is something of a DIY enthusiast and dabbles in property development, having spent the last 2 years rebuilding a Victorian cottage. He is also a keen, but “struggling” golfer and is in the process of trying to instil his love of Manchester United on his two young children. |
